my chapter today did a 2.5 mile walk for hunger and homelessness in the pouring rain in 45 degree weather.. we're troopers!! :)
besides my sisters, there were literally 8 other walkers due to the inclement weather, none of them from other GLOs. in a city where the university does not recognize our presence it felt amazing to have the mayor publicly congratulating us on our work and dedication. maybe now the university will see we are not the stereotypical sorority, nor are like the GLOs who got us kicked off campus in the early 80s...
