Hello everyone! I know I don't post here too often but I've been around for awhile now. Anyways last spring I joined a local sorority and recently decided it's not for me. So I've been going to a few informals over the past two weeks. Tomorrow I'm going to sign my bid and I'll let you all know then what organization I decided to join.

Yes! Congrats on your bid from Alpha Xi Delta! It is a great sorority. a friend I work with was an AZD and she is wonderful!!!

To answer your question, I dont think you can be in both at the same time however you can be in a local and then resign and join a national and i think you can go national to local but im not sure

You can actually go from NPC to local and vice versa - though active membership in both at the same time is not recommended (due to time I'm sure!). I am an alum of a local and an alum initiate of an NPC. I also know women who have joined a local after their NPC chapter closed on campus.
