Anyone else writing a novel or screen play?

I was wondering if anyone else is working on a novel or screenplay . . .

And whether you used a story development tool or writing program.

I am writing Directing an independant movie come October and will be posting an open casting Call On Greekchat to give Greeks a first crack at it . . .

Me too!!! I just started taking a creative writing class and am submitting poetry to the class and teacher.
i am really excited about the class and am using some of my greek experiences( good and BAD) to find inspiration for writing.
What do you use for inspiration?
As a young girl, i found so many instances to write but now as an older girl LOL i dont find as many..
where do u find ur reasons to write?

not novels, but short stories. It's been so long since I've written anything for fun I'm re-entering the writing world in a roundabout sort of way: I'm writing fanfiction, and beta-reading. It's interesting, there are some really unbelievable (in a good way) people at FictionAlleyPark. Plus they're saying good stuff about the story I've posted :) which always brightens my day. Fanfiction is great practice (for me, lots of others have really taken it to a new level).

I don't remember a time when I wasn't writing stories... and of course, I have the same ambition every other writer does: To pen the Great American Novel. Not going to happen anytime soon.

I don't use any software. Perhaps I should... I barely can bring myself to type stories. The computer seems so... intangible compared to a crisp piece of paper and a pen. I don't like involving technology with an art like writing. I'm weird, I know.

Hope to be reading a GC's book someday.
