I just found the thread in the other forum talking about "sorority beads." Someone posted a picture of them, but I don't think that's the necklace everyone was talking about. If anyone has any idea about what I'm talking about, can you please post a picture of what the "sorority beads" do look like? Thanks!

I found a picture of them on an Alpha Chi page from our school, but you can't really tell what they are. The picture that was posted on the other thread that you referred to is not what I was talking about AT ALL. They are the silver beads that you can get at any department store. I hope that helps.

hey thanks for posting the picture, now i'm not so clueless about the whole "sorority bead" thing...however, i've never seen a necklace like this before!

I think the only reason we call them "sorority beads" is because all sorority girls wear them during rush. I've even heard a girl call black stretch jazz pants "sorority pants" because all the sorority girls wear them for homecoming dances and skits.
