Leslie, that is just scandalous! We have crime in the streets, unemployment, corporations wreaking havoc with bad accounting, and terrorists trying to destroy the country....and WHO do the courts go after? Little old ladies feeding squirrels. Now I've seen just about everything. :rolleyes:

I agree with greeklawgirl... It's a pretty sad state of affairs when the city is spending money to go after a little old lady feeding squirrels. I think I'd rather go after the city for stupidity and for being careless with taxpayers' dollars! :D

this reminds me of a similar story. 'bout a lady who was getting arrested for putting money in expired meters before the meter maid could ticket them. dude. nice old lady gettin picked on by the police. dern them.

How perfect is this picture??? FIGHT BACK SQUIRRELS!!!! It's actually funny b/c I was just about to post this picture. Recently my friends and I went to Washington DC and we figured out that the squirrels on the Captial lawn are part of the homeland security plan. Just a little background on this weird little page

Sorry I'm invading your board, but as a Poli Sci major, I feel that the government should be going after other criminals--NOT OLD LADIES feeding the squirrels. The city has better things to do with their time and money than prosecuting old ladies.

I was just informed that those are binoculars in his hand :).

Part of the joke is because there were like a TON of squirrels on the Capital Lawn and my friend Neil wants one for a pet so he was trying to feed them leaves (it was hot, the heat was getting to our heads) then we noticed they we're circling around him in a militaristic fashion (laying on their belly's and scooting closer and stuff), kinda Black Hawk Down style (before they crashed). I said it was because they we're hot, but they are CONVINCED they are part of a covert operation. When the pictures are developed, I'll post them b/c it was seriously funny
