whatever happened to gospel singer Karen Clark-Sheard!

Karen Clark-Sheard came out with a cd back in 1998. I haven't heard if she has put anything else out. That cd was so inspirational does anyone else agree!!!!! Furthermore, have you heard any news on a new release. You might be able to hear some of her clips from the '98 cd at: www.blackgospel.com and enter her name in the search portion.

If I'm not mistaken, she was very ill about a year ago. And now that you mention it I never heard anything else regarding her condition.

Wasn't she recently on an awards show and sung a duet with, Yolanda adams. I can't remember the name of the award show though :confused:

The name of her first CD is Finally Karen. I have the CD right at my desk and listen all of the time. It is a very inspirational CD. I have burned a hole in it. From what I have heard, she was ill but doing better. She has also worked on several songs with other gospel singers like Yolanda Adams. And she also lost quite a bit of weight. Good for her!!!

The award show was something on BET and Steve Harvey was the host. I do not know about you, but I am really tired of ..."Put yo hands together and sho yo love...":rolleyes: Has he gotten any other jobs besides hosting award shows??:confused:
