Internship

Is anyone doing an internship this summer? If so, what are you doing?

Well I was supposed to have an internship this summer with McIlhenny...the company that produces Tabasco sauce. But...after seeing the grades I made this semester my parents STRONGLY suggested that I go to summer school and try to bump them back up. If I had taken the internship I would have been doing a little bit of eveything at the plant.

i'm actually sitting at my desk at my internship right now... I'm a summer college intern for the Illinois State's Attorney's Office.... sounds more prestigous than it really is though ;) I mostly file, check up on, and search for cases in the data base, or as i affectionately call it - i'm the real lawyers bitch :D I don't care, I want to be an attorney so this is awesome experience and looks great on a resume - plus i get to work downtown!

I had been on a continuous internship as a software engineer for my last three years of college. They recently hired me on full time. :)

Kind of doing an internship. I'll be a news reporter on the campus TV station that broadcasts over the city's local cable system. Doing it this summer and hopefully in the fall also.

I don't have an internship this summer (I'm working for our Dean of Students), but in the fall I'll be interning for the state representative for my district doing some campaign work, some constituent work, and some legal work. It should be really interesting...plus I get 3 hours of 400-level credit in my major (political science).

Found out today that I might actually be getting to anchor one or two days a week for the Summer on the school's TV Newscast.

Didn't expect that at all.

I actually just finished my internship up in the Washington D.C. metro area. I was working for the National Rifle Association.

I am a compliance Eng.....well I guess not an "engineer" yet but i basically do the same things as the engineers do but get paid half as much. I test things to make sure that they don't electromagnetically interfere with each other. You wouldn't want your cell phone messing with your pacemaker would you!

I guess you would call this an internship. But I work as a contractor for the USGS (United States Geological Survey) in the astrogeological department. I look at a lot of mars images and what not. For those interested in the project I work on go to http://themis.asu.edu .
