hey guys come to my site at http://www.geocities.com/thejuniorhighyearz and relive all the memories you all remember from the late 80's and early 90's. From tv music and cartoons. It might take forever to download but sit tight. It'll get there.

You know, a week or two ago I read through a thread on the AKA board (@ GreekChat) that was all about the 80's.

(It's hysterical... you guys should read through it if you haven't already!!)

But I found it interesting that everyone has such similar memories and experiences, regardless of our race, ethnicity, religion, etc. Of course, no one has had identical experiences, and we've all dealt with different things. But for as much bickering and as many misunderstandings that we have on this board in relationship to race, it's nice to see that we do have things in common.

Okay, I don't know any of you, but I love you guys! Being out here in the middle of Korea, it gets kinda lonely sometimes. I haven't seen a black woman in this city since last year October! But to do some internet-based 80s reminescing (sorry for the spelling) is just great. Everyone is this public computer room is staring at me strangely, wondering what I'm sitting here laughing and smiling at. "Weird foreigner," they're thinking. They just don't know!
