Main Street, USA

The thread about malls got me thinking because we have "Main Street" - the strip of road with all the best stores and boutiques.

What is everyone's Main Street like?

We have "The Village". It's got a Gap, Ann Taylor, Talbots, Borders, Starbucks, Jacobsons, a jewelry store and other assorted things I can't think of right now. I used to think it was completely absurd until I moved here and go to "the village" so often.

Midas Muffler, pawn shops, used car lots, Burger King, and a Flea Market that use to be a K-Mart. The better shops and malls move to the burbs.
