I'm an Advisor for a PBS Chapter and I have a question about the Informational Meeting (Smoker...old school term) procedure as reported in the Intake Manual for PBS. Am I reading this procedure correctly? It says prospective members must pay $$$ towards an application fee "before" the meeting. I've re-read this procedure several times and I keep reading into the same concept.

I would be interested to know the experiences other chapters have had with this procedure, and if you're not following this procedure then maybe you're not informing your Regional Director?

Is this an appropriate question for GC?

Obviously some of you feel it is so I have withdrawn the question.
Actually if you really think about it, its a public forum question because if you are recruiting people for your Informational Meeting, its would be common knowledge what each group requaire. For some reason, many of you feel it is a ritual question:)
