Happy S.A.D., everyone! Singles Awareness Day is a wonderful, sappy-movie-girl-bonding holiday. I recommend it highly to those who have singles awareness issues...we DO exist, even on the 14th of February. :D

Yea I understand , I too won't get to do much either. I'll be at work from 9-5pm and then off to dance rehearsal 6pm-midnite, so thats my whole valentines right there :(

Even though people may look at Valentine's Day as a stupid holiday for romance, you should remember that love doesn't necessarily have to come in the form of a boyfriend or girlfriend. There are lots of OTHER people in your life that love you and can be your Valentine! So remember to tell your loved ones how much you love them!

My Singles Awareness Day went great!

I was in the library with an entire floor to myself for nearly 7 hours. Two people walked in at one point, but then turned & left. There's nothing better than being really alone on a couples day!

This post is a bit dated, but ah well.

I thoroughly enjoyed my Valentines. I had no boyfriend and I was a designated driver. I ended up hysterically laughing through out the night with one of my best friends at one of the Pi Phi houses. We went to a party, I had to chase my little bro across the party to cut him off,I got 2 entire red cups of beer and a gin and tonic poured on me and I got a fat lip from hitting my lip on something. But it was the most entertaining night. I drove everyone back to the pre party house where we proceeded to watch Temptation Island that we recorded ealier, and finish off 4 large pizzas. It's really not the day, it's what you make of it.

*Imagine having a girlfriend or boyfriend and stressing about reservations, gifts and all that excess drama. We're over it.
