Just interested in what house had the highest GPA among Greek houses this semester.
Here at Nebraska, we, Beta Theta Pi won grades with a house GPA of 3.403. I don't know which sorority won...

Not sure about last semester, but we won all of last year, as the only chapter on campus with a GPA above 3.0 - not sure about sororities though, their GPAs are usually higher.

At my school, Alpha Chi Omega usually was at the top of the sorority grades list. I think Alpha Tau Omega had the highest fraternity grades.

ADPi usually always comes in first. I'm not sure what the GPA's were though. ZTA is usually second with KD and Tri-Delta right behind us.

Our campus doesn't post the grades by chapter anymore , I'm not sure why. They also don't rank the students individually anymore.

The highest GPA honors usually jumps from chapter to chapter here. Last year it was SUPER close but Phi Mu came in just slightly above us (AOII) However, This year we are #1 :) :) :) I'm soooo excited that we will probably win the scholarship cup on honors day! :)

They usually do, I'm not sure how long they've held it but we won it this semester. I think that this was only the second semester since 1997 that we've won grades, but it might have been the first since that year. Obviously we're hoping that this semester that trends begin to change and we hold that top spot for a while.

I'm really proud of all you folks... those are really high GPA's. We placed #1 in fraternities on our campus but we were only 2.84 this semester. Seems pretty low comparatively.
One of our challenges is that the vast majority of our members are non-residents. Does anyone have any suggestions for helping their grades out?

The University of Cincinnati's Chi Omega chapter has had the top sorority GPA for just about 5 years running. I believe (I'm a pretty new member) that it has varied between being top GLO, or just top sorority, but it is always top sorority.
I know this is a way late posting, but felt I needed to represent!!

Just got an e-mail from our chapter president...
My chapter again won grades among the fraternities, and we actually claimed the Highest Greek chapter GPA (which as many of you know, it seldom happens that a fraternity beats a sorority for top honors).
Anyway our chapter GPA for the semester was 3.510!!! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Congrats to the Betas at UNL. 3.5 is an outstanding GPA for any GLO...especially at a state school.
At Rockhurst University, Zeta Tau Alpha consistently posts the highest Greek GPA, which is usually between 3.4 and 3.5. Alpha Sigma Alpha ranks second, between a 3.3 and a 3.4.
The highest men's GPA has for a long time been held by the Pikes, with anywhere between a 3.15 and a 3.3.
These three chapters are also in their top 5-10 chapters overall for their organizations. I know that the Zetas have won their top GPA Award recently.
So the Greeks are a smart bunch of people!

I am proud that my chapter got highest grades for last semester (3.0)
This makes 2 years in a row that Kappa Sig has been the #1 fraternity at GSU. Our grades are always higher than the all-greek average and the all-campus average.
For sororities Alpha Xi Delta, Alpha Omicron Pi, and Delta Zeta battle it out for the top spot. It's usually really close.

Holy cow, I can't believe how high everyone's GPAs are.
My sorority had the highest all-Greek GPA until this year. No chapter ever gets above a 3.0 at my school because it's an engineering school, so the top GPA in my chapter is usually like a 3.6.
Hey, I did well (3.43). :D

Grades are in again for Fall Semester '02
Beta Theta Pi at the University of Nebraska again took home top honors for the 3rd semester in a row (I might add I've been in the house for those three semesters...coincidence???probably).
We came in with a 3.414 or something around that...was good enough to beat the fraternities and get second behind Chi Omega in the overall Greek Standings.
Hopefully we can continue our streak at our National Convention in winning Top GPA...

Our campus had relatively low GPAs this past Fall, even compared to our GPAs in the past!
For the men, Delta Tau Delta took top GPA again (like 3rd quarter in a row I think), with a 2.85 (first time they were above the all-men's which was like 2.6 this quarter.... also very low compared to past). All-Fraternity GPA actually beat the all-men's, too, with a 2.64.
For the women, Sigma Kappa took top GPA with a 2.95, Kappa took second with a 2.85, and Gamma Phi took 3rd with a 2.84! All-sorority was 2.84 and all-women's was 2.79.
LIke I said, it was low for everyone on our campus this year... I'm doing a study in my office (we calculate the GPAs... one of my many duties) and found today that our freshmen have an almost all-time low for average GPA! I dont know what happened this year, but it's really upsetting!

Well our streak was snapped this semester.
Beta Theta Pi at the University of Nebraska ended up third in grades this semester with a 3.413 or so. We finished behind Farmhouse and Sig Ep.
Honestly, while I'm dissappointed, I think it might help us out as some people had started to take it for granted that we would win. Hopefully it will provide some motivation.

We haven't lost a grade competition since I've been enrolled at W&L.
Last spring we averaged a 3.59 (and we had 90 members at the time)! We also had 21 members with 4.0 or above GPAs for the term.
Of course, spring term is a short term for us and our averages are usually in the 3.4s.... but we still dominate.

Tri Sigmas at Ursinus College have had the highest grades since our installation in 2002. Not only do we have the highest average as a sorority but also highest among the all womens average. We are also always getting recognized by national HQ with little awards and things which makes us feel great as a newer chapter!
(Side note: This type of thing is not a huge deal at our school, but I like how it is a friendly competition at other schools..sounds like fun).
Also for the interested Sigmas we have had 3 girls be honored with scholarship rings, the one has gotten one sophomore, junior and senior year!! :D (A little bit of pride since shes my former roomie ;) )
