Hi fellow sisters!
Just wanted to say hi! and how happy I am to have discovered this site. I hope to be able to contribute from a Canadian prespective and I know that I will get a lot out of this from all of you. It great to see so many Phis on this board!

So glad you joined us Sherry! My mom is Canadian (from Newfoundland), but I have many relatives in Ontario. It is such a beautiful province.
I am looking forward to learning more about Alpha Phi from a Canadian perspective. :)

Sherry,
That is so amazing! My mom is in St. John's right now. I absolutely love St. John's--it is so beautiful. Many of my cousins live in and around SJ.
You might be one of the few people I've met who might actually know the island my mom was born on--Fogo Island.
I would love to chat with you more. :-)
AOE,
Jen

Actually, I am an alumnae of Theta Eta. The chapter is small but every year, the girls are great! We do seem to struggle with certain issues (recruitment, finances, housing issues, etc.) I would love to hear feedback from other chapters / actives / alumni on these and other issues as well.
TechAPhi: I am heading back to St. John's in 12 days to finalize plans for my wedding this summer. My fiance will be getting his first taste of a Newfoundland winter! We have lots of friends and most of his family coming down from Ontario to the wedding! I am so excited about showing them a good newfie time!
