We talked about it when I was active, but I dont think it ever happend. We used to get all the brothers together usually twice a week and go out in the woods an let some agression out. On occasion, a few females would join us...

I think it would be pretty fun, might be kinda spendy though.. I could spend $50 easily and thats with all my own equiptment.

I know most of the guys would be up for it, but how about some opinions from the ladies...

Wow a paintball exchange sounds like a lot of fun. I can only imagine how much fun that would be. Yea I would have ot agree that would get kinda pricey out here, paint ball goes anywhere from $50.00 to $300. Maybe a Laser tag exchange would work to, I mean that would be just as much fun. Heck I am happy as long as I get to pluck a few folks with some paintballs or some laser beems, I am pretty happy :p

I bet you could work out a deal with a field for a big group rate. Have it set up with 2 teams, and everyone is paired up, with one gun between them. If one gets shot, your out for the round. It would be alot cheaper like that to, only using half the paint/co2.

HMM Handcuff'd paintball, that could be fun as hell!!

Never tried paint ball- but I've done laser tag. It was unfortunate because my then boyfriend and I ended up with a birthday party group of 8 year olds! Those rugrats can run! :P

Paintball sounds like an "aggressive"- I'm sure some girls might be up to it, some might worry about their nails :) lol.

We went to a place out here for $10 a person. It wasn't an exchange, just a bunch of girls, but that was their group rate for 20 or more.

That is what AXO at A&M does for our philanthropy-they have a paintball tournament among the sororities and frats and anyone else that wants to play. From what I have heard people have lots of fun (much better than the stupid golf tournement we use to have-blah)

The one issue that will arise with this is Insurance.
There are a lot of insurance implications--I tried to do this for a company party a few years ago--we were an internet co with 25 employess all under 30 so we were all really into the idea--but it got vetoed because of insurance.

I want to do that for a brother hood event. I don't like the idea of shooting at girls.

Our brothers at Western Michigan U are planning it for a brotherhood event this spring. Small chance we may invite another fraternity to join us. Good exercise and a lot of adrenaline!
