Now that Christmas is near anyone doing any philanthropies related to this holiday?

The chapter I was in in college does stuff with a local nursing/retirement home. Every holiday they make cards for the residents. And usually twice a semester they visit. I think they are planning a recital in the beginning of December for the residents (it's an arts org.). Then they stay and chat with them awhile. The home is only about a block from campus, which makes it rather convienent.
