View Full Version : Does anyone have Rush Ideas for the Spring?

I have just been selected Rush Chair for the Spring. I want to get a head start on putting together and awesome theme so that we can interest girls to join. Our spring rush is formal-so I'm going to need at least 3 or 4 themes. I would appreciate as many ideas as I can get! :confused: Also, if you have Rush t-shirt ideas (slogans, styles, etc) please post them too! Thanks so much!:)

Hey fellow sister,
I am a member of the ASA beta beta chapter. We did a "Recruitment" theme this year. We had army camo tanks and army decorations. We used "In the Army" and a song by Master P and changed the words for our theme. Plus we did a army skit. We had a Seargent who asked the recruits their favorite things about ASA. It was really cool and the girls really liked it.
Last year they had done a broadway theme, but it didn't go over very well. Girls at my school want upbeat stuff.

Off the subject here but I saw you were from Greeley. Do you know Sammy Thomas? Just thought I would ask b/c I know that she was ASA at UNC before leaving to go to school in Cali.

Yeah I remember her-- she was barely around--she could no longer afford ASA bc she had spent a semester of school in australia. I think the girls treated her crappy so I think that was another reason she wanted to leave.

I thought she went to school in California, I was just wondering if anyone knew how to get ahold of her.

I have no idea how you can get a hold of her. sorry-- perhaps check UNC current students on the net and see if she is still registered at UNC. Other than that I don't know how you can find her. I don't know anyone who keeps in touch with her.

I am leaving August 20th. I contacted UWF's Panhellenic President about helping out and she said she belived I could. She was going to talk to the panhellenic advisor, but I have yet to hear back from her.
I still don't know if I am living in the dorms or the upper classmen apartments. I won't know until the end of the month.
