Hi there!

So I'm going to a Founders Day event in a couple of weeks - anyone else going?? I'm excited since this will be my first one as part of a fully formed chapter. (Online Xi wasn't really set up this time last year)

That’s great! One of the chapters in Connecticut is organizing a Founder’s Day event on April 30th and invited the other chapters in the state. I will be attending the event as a sister of Xi Alpha Lambda. (Yay! I found a home in a land chapter!). The event should be fun. I am working on a friendship basket for an exchange that my chapter is participating in at the event.

Yay!! An exchange sounds fun! I don't think we're doing anything besides lunch and a program.

allionna...Congrats on the land chapter! That's awesome!

Online Kappa will celebrate on April 28th with an online social and the much anticipated announcement of our Woman of the Year.

In real life, I'll wear my badge on April 30th.

SO - any thoughts on what next year's theme might be? I'm getting excited to find out, especially because this year's theme proved somewhat prophetic for me (moving to a new state and finding a new land chapter...)

I'm going to the convention in Albany, this year! I'm preparing for initiation into Preceptor Kappa!

I was able to attend Founder's Day and I had a great time! I met so many of the lovely sisters, throughout Syracuse! I'm so glad I have had all the opportunities after moving to NY. I'm involved in Phi Mu's Alumnae chapter, the Junior League, and now Beta Sigma Phi! I'm so excited!

Great to hear everyone's experiences! Our city council lunch is tomorrow so I can't wait to see what happens. Happy Founders Day everyone!
