I truly believe they are making this part of the franchise because Basketball Wives is an easy target for them. As in, BW is such a horrible show they have a great opportunity to claim the Miami brand a bit better.

I'm actually quite happy to hear this, because Miami Social lasted for one good season, but quickly dropped off the face of the earth. If I understood correctly, some of the same cast members will be back for the RH episodes. I thought they were good, and I am particularly interested in Katrina and Hardy. :)

Say it isn't so! It doesn't even sound the least bit interesting. The last time Bravo had a show in Miami, it flopped and was not renewed for a second season.

Yeah, ditto on that. I was really looking forward to the new NYC season, but at least they've given us something to keep us preoccupied in the meantime. I just hope these women are not a bunch of ghetto-fab heffas like Atlanta and New Jersey. :rolleyes:

I watched it and probably will not again. I wanted to break my TV everytime the one from Brazil was on. I found it more shallow and more annoying than the other housewive shows.

LOL!! I've had to watch the 1st episode over and over again trying to grasp these women, but :( ... to no avail. I'm having a tough time. However, I'm still curious about them. I certainly was NOT prepared to see the number of celebrities at the beginning :eek: , but that might have been Bravo's way of attracting our attention to the show. I hope I can connect with the cast, and learn more about each women's genuity through the show. I'm still ready and waiting for NY houswives, though. :)

Oh thank goodness! I'm glad I wasn't the only one who wasn't a fan of Miami. Just seemed kind of boring compared to the other cities. The ladies are hard to connect with and I was disappointed no one from Miami Social was on (I liked that show!). I did like the scenes of the Pippen family (nice to see a basketball player who *hopefully* is committed to his family) and the random scene with Rodman but I don't think that's enough. My DVR is already set for NYC and OC... oh and Bethenny Ever After, love her!

Marysol Patton is off to a stellar start as a reality star.

The Real Housewives of Miami cast member was busted on suspicion of drunk driving in January 2010, according to the Florida State Attorney's Office. She avoided jail time by pleading no contest to a lesser charge of reckless driving.

What makes this story even better? Her mother was arrested for the same crime a few months later!

Anybody been watching the show? I actually like it, but I don't quite understand how Adriana is some "bombshell". I think she's rather plain. The hair with that part in the middle is so simple to me. Yeah, it's long, but even her features aren't all that pretty.

The one who made the biggest and most attractive appearance was Larsa, and she's showing herself to be one with a great deal of integrity, too. I think Adriana got a little peeved at the voters poll on "Watch What Happens LIVE" when he asked viewers to determine "Who Made the Best Impression?"

And, is it just me, but I hate to hear Alexis talk!! :mad: She makes me cringe for some reason. But I absolutely love Marysol's mother! :D LOL!!

Larsa is gorgeous and seems to be a good mom.

I can't tell if Adriana is just flaky or doesn't care about her kids/boyfriend/etc. Look how serious she was about her job.

Cristy just seems like a middle school bia.

Can't get a read on Marysol yet, but so far she seems legit.

Jury's still out on Lea too. She's so different from them, but in a way still fits in. I like her and Adriana's friendship.

They showed pictures of the "witch mother" from 30+ years ago. She was BEAUTIFUL, GORGEOUS. She looked like Sophia Loren.

What the HELL happened?! Did she suffer a stroke? Did she have a lot of plastic surgery to maintain her youthful good looks? Did someone cast a spell on her?

OMGosh!! I was wondering the same thing! I'm sure she got some lip implants, and her face seems stretched too far backwards or something. She is not nearly as old as she looks (from what I understand). I certainly get a kick out of her, though ... and Marysol seems like such a sweetheart.

But Cristy is workin' my NERVES!!! :mad: Her entire demeanor is just annoying. She's like a gum-poppin' 15-year-old.

At first, I thought it was bad plastic surgery, now I'm convinced it is awful plastic surgery. It looks as if she did pieces and parts but nothing fits together. Kind of like a jigsaw puzzle where you use pieces from 3 different pictures. She definitely had her lower face done but it looks like she didn't have a mid-face lift. It also looks like she had a brow lift without the blepharoplasty.

:confused: This must've been a rush reunion because they had to sit there instead of getting the big reunion room like other Bravo shows.

It was a funny and extremely argumentative reunion. They showed Andy Cohen trying to moderate and his head was going from side to side trying to keep up with (literally) both sides of the argument.

I need Cohen to stop whatever he's doing to his face. Tanning, botox, plastic surgery? Whatever it is, STOP IT!!!!

I definitely saw it, and I'll be honest, I wondered why they decided to have the reunion LIVE on the air, instead of promoting it the way they did the OTHER reunion shows. I have a feeling he knew it was going to be heated, and just decided to allow them to go at it for all to see. I had no idea there was THAT much hostility between those women. Adriana is a pitbull! :eek:

I'm sad about them, too. I was really hoping for a 2nd season with them, because I really respected most of the cast members. Everyone was likeable except for the Salahis. :rolleyes:
