Lavaliere

Hey,
I've heard that whether or not delta chis lavaliere is determined by each chapter, but that if the chapter wants to give out lavalieres they would have to come up with some sort of ceremony... is this true at all? does anyone know?

First of all, I assume you're writing because you're in a serious and committed relationship with one of my fine brothers, congratulations!

Our ceremony can be found, with some other open ceremonies, here (http://deltachi.org/resources/other.php) on our IHQ website. Whether or not a woman recieves a lavaliere is generally decided and voted upon by the men of that chapter. Hope this helps!

It's hard to believe that it's been over 20 years since I was lavaliered and then pinned by my Delta Chi boyfriend (now husband). I came across my lavalier the other day when I was going through my jewelry box. :)

When my DX bf lavelierd me he didnt tell any of his brothers, but he bought it from the greek store my lil sister works at. she was the only one that knew

I had to consult my brothers about it, but eventually extended to my ex when we were still dating.
